datarockets is looking for a new teammate who's eager to learn and become a great datarocker! We have plenty of external project tasks and internal design challenges for our future designer, so we need someone who would be ready to pro-actively take over them.
What we’d like from you
- Sharing of our values. We’re creating a team of like-minded people to make their mutual work and communication pleasant and efficient. So it’s vital for our new teammate to share our Company Codex.
- Diligence. Since you’re a Junior Designer, it’s alright not to have a lot of commercial experience, but the main thing for us is your will to do your best to complete the tasks and grow professionally.
- Proactivity. We need someone who communicates proactively and asks questions. We expect that you will be involved in different areas (projects, sales, products) and will take the initiative.
- English. At datarockets, we use English as a working language daily, so we expect you to have a level that lets you understand your colleagues and clients and communicate confidently.
- Expertise in UX first and foremost. Usually, we don’t work on large design projects with custom graphics. Your main task will be to design screens of the web services or custom apps, so we mostly expect you to build a UX for them.
- Experience with Figma. That’s the main tool you’ll be using in your daily work activities.
- Completed design courses. We would like you to be familiar with the design process and have hands-on experience working with requirements and feedback. If you have not completed a design course, please demonstrate that you are familiar with the topics listed above.
Nice to have:
- Expertise in UI.
- Experience in AI tools.
- Experience with Adobe Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
What you will do
- Design new features for the web application and redesign existing ones (complex user flows, tables, dashboards), prototyping.
- Support and develop UI kit and work with tokens.
- Collaborate with developers and demo your solutions to the team and client.
